Why we play

Every dollar goes to fighting cystic fibrosis.

Cystic fibrosis is a progressive genetic disease that causes thick, sticky mucus to build up in the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. It leads to lung infections, trouble breathing, and trouble digesting food, and it is with a person from birth. Nearly 40,000 kids and adults in the United States live with it.

The last decade changed everything. New treatments funded largely by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation mean people with CF are living longer than anyone thought possible a generation ago. But those treatments don't work for everyone, they aren't a cure, and they cost a fortune. That's what the money is for.

This tournament benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Northern Ohio Chapter, which funds research, supports the CF care centers families here rely on, and runs programs for people living with CF across our region. Your entry fee, your sponsorship, and whatever you add on top go straight there.

What if I don't have a partner?

Can I sponsor or donate prizes?

Yes, and thank you. Email JW@purdycon.com and we'll get you the sponsor sheet.
